Pete Masters
Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT)
Head of Community
Pete leads the community team at HOT (the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team), with a focus on supporting the evolution of local community power and problem solving through open geographical data and participatory mapping. He also has a long history with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), beginning with writing MSF UK's first website and digital strategy and, more recently, launching the Missing Maps project - which brought OpenStreetMap data and communities into the organisational mainstream - and leading a Research and Innovation team in the Manson Unit (one of MSF’s medical units).
